APS Season 2006/2007

Re: APS Season 2006/2007

Geelong College Vs Brighton Grammar

In an action packed game between two power houses of the APS, Shaw Kitchen in somewhat of a Donald Sahlstrom style burned A. Bramham for 42 denying him back to back APS 50's in his first 2 games. Very well set at that time, he was well on his way to a run a ball century after hitting J.Davis back over his head for a 6 so large the ball reportedly had snow on it when returning to the ground. Look out Wesley.

Re: APS Season 2006/2007

I would like everyone to know that i hate Haileybury and they are a joke of a school. Sorry to people who already knew that (everyone) but that is all i signed up to say...

Re: APS Season 2006/2007

st kevins vs carey!!

skevs got a good 1st win under their belt by raping carey!!
hutto won the toss and batted on a soft deck that would have had most bowlers licking their lips but kane "no balls" richo started off the 1st over of the day by bowling 8 no balls in a row! (new aps record)
karl wissell and jeremey corby put on 60 for the first wicket with extras helping the score move on!a few great decisions by the 90 year old umpire helped carey get back in the game....
skevs were bowled out for 193
lachy roberts gun yr 10 topping with 37
hutton 30
wissell 28

carey were given 2 overs to face from skevs new ball attack of griffiths and bick with bick making the breakthrough to have carey 1/2 at stumps...
carey were no where to be seen on sat morning with no real resistance from anyone....bowled out for 81! with bick taking 5/23 and griffiths and mcdermott chiming in with 2fas..
carey put up a fight in their 2nd dig with gordon making 57... and the game was called off with carey 8/170...
loook out haileybury skevs are rolling in on a high and a big chance of upsetting them this week...

Re: APS Season 2006/2007

pattinson back this week for haileybury. big news.

from the sounds of things im glad weve already played GC, they seem to be on fire.

HC ground looking like an absolute motherfkr, in the words of ritchie.

would not be suprised if both teams declared on 400

be interesting to see...

Re: APS Season 2006/2007

Haileybury rolled carey for 65, and missed on outright by 1 wicket. and pattinson wasnt playing!!

im sorry skevvies boys, but the best u/17 player in the country will being playing against you, and if you let carey get 180 odd, and then think you will have Haileybury in trouble ,makes you an absolute. carey are the worst team in the aps and you say your on a high after beating them. wake up fellas.

good luck skevvies.

oh and p.s. wear a crash helmet. ;)

Re: APS Season 2006/2007

skevs won the toss on a flat belter with a rock hard dead outfield in 38 degree heat. then proceeded to come out all guns blazing batting for a draw.

what the hell is with that? seriously. i would have thought minimum 220-230 today. MINIMUM!

i dont know how a ************ like heinrichs can bowl 8 overs for 7 runs and include so many balls on the hips and legs.

hope tomorrow will bring some shots and some good cricket.

Corbey = worse than roachey!

honestly...

Re: APS Season 2006/2007

st. kevs are an absolute joke. teams should be licking their lips when theysee the outfield and pitch haileybury produced. pitch= road. outfield= has hard as the pitch itself.

the skevs openers put on about 70 odd, and hadnt lost a wicket at tea. so that was 35 or something overs, for 70 runs, on a batsmens fantasy. haileybury got 5 wickets for a further 70 runs before the storms kicked in and ended play at 5.30.

for the next melbourne comedy festival, roachy and corbey should have a show were they bat together in the nets, absolute joke. players like them are the reason aps schools get scholarships. saves a lot of embarressbent.

Re: APS Season 2006/2007

First of all I would like to state the obvious and say that HC are a bunch of Cocky arrogant c**ts and without paid players like Patterson, would not last 20 over’s and probably get beaten by Wesley (which is a joke in itself) Talk it up you wankers.. I remember back in the good old days when we would smash you jokes and would look forward to any sporting games against HC because it was a certain win… suddenly you hit open division and HC have gone all out on Scholarships.. you’re a joke of a school and don’t belong in the APS system.. so heat and T-bone go shove your arrogant comments up your arse

Re: APS Season 2006/2007

tbone and heat are obviously a bit worried. skevvies are 4/150 and with a long batting line up, u could be kissing away ur bought $@#!en premiership.

corby and other opener have obviously batted until tea so patto must have taken heaps of wickets!

If the wicket was hard..why didnt he knock anyones head off???

haileybury are a joke and will probs get beaten. (lynch is the ugliest guy in aps...absolutely disgusting):

scotch for flag.

Some of them alright, the actual players aren't bad blokes, its just the blokes on here pumping up their mates tyres. I stay away from the whole Haileybury thing now cause I get paid out everytime they meet Caulfield nowadays.

Re: APS Season 2006/2007

i bet t-bone and heat are paid by haileybury to talk 'em up. u guys probs dont play cricket and are just fat nerds that are on academic scholarships, or music.

shocker is correct..everyone at haileybury wants to suck pattos dick!

Re: APS Season 2006/2007

skevs vs haileybury...saturday

resuming at 4/140 tom mcdermott got on with the job making 52 valuable runs and tom hickey 20 odd.. haileyburys bowlers bowled well and fielded extrmely well to bowl skevs out for 212 with hoppe making 23 not out...
not sure abt bowlers shared wickets around..

skevs got an early wicket with bick gettting bayard had wakefield out 1st ball but a dropped catch saved him...from there jackson also dropped few overs lata and wakefield batted well with tom mcdermott getting wakefield for 27.. jackson was next out for 87 lbw to bick....tormey smacked them around including 20 runs off the last over off bick very good hitting...patto was out to wissell...haileybury 4/220...
waiting to see someone knock them off or challenge them

Re: APS Season 2006/2007

Some guy 2fa

BGS 2/60
Tilly Yaman 2/19 (8)

Caulfield won by 7 wickets.

Re: APS Season 2006/2007

scotch got 330
gelling 142 n.o wolfe 39 zayler got 3 or 4

melbourne were 0/130 then 7/150 all out for 230
parisi 5 forbes 4 zayler 86

absolute road with lightning outfield parisi killing it

Re: APS Season 2006/2007

I dunno about scotch, they rely on Parisi and Forbes too much. If it wasnt for 6Lbs and a couple of other dodgey decisions like giving out Dunnell caught down leg side and the scotch boys saying that it wasnt out and Zayler caught behind when he didn hit it. MGS wouldve won comfortably. cricket can be a ******** game!

Also Scotches coach is an absoloute f*** Wit. After MGs were bowled out at 530 the game couldv been called but he wanted their tail to get some form when the players didn even want to be out there. Hes an absoloute loser and I hope someone hits him.

have a f***kn whinge u c***head. u guys fkn lost and hav nobody to blame but urselves for the loss. if ur bowlers could actually bowl in the right areas and if ur captain actually set reasonable fields, then maybe u wudna had to chase down sucha big total. id have to say oaten and whoever the vice captain of grammar is are actualy nuff nuffs, having a short cover and bowling with a 7, 2 field when gelling was on 120. ultimately ur poor lack of bowling depth cost u dearly, u cant have a side like scotch 3/100 and let them make 330 odd, all of melbourne gramarians are heartless, spiritless and spineless. how cud u let ur openers down with a start of 0/100??? surely ur middle order cuda shown a bit more character and grit. a pack of individuals if ever iv seen one. go back to toorak u wankers. btw i hope you blokes liked chasing around the leather for another hour, if i was coach versing u guys i wuda dun the same thing, a genuine bunch of c***. if charles shaw is the biggest pie chucker, even the ump was havin a laugh when he cudnt hit the pitch. all i can say is, ur season i over, and im glad that we made u go out agen.
