Well done to them, nonetheless.

It's good that the final can be played in good old ANZAC tradition.

Re: ICC Champions Trophy 2009

So what's everyone's predictions for tonight?

I reckon Australia in a fairly close game.

Re: ICC Champions Trophy 2009

Massive blow Vettori out, this list of injuries make a win almost impossible for New Zealand.

Haha. I might be wrong but from memory Bond has a very good record against Australia.
Yep, something like an average in the very low teens, his batting average is actually higher :D

The great Peter Siddle who should not be playing for Australia in any form of the game gets NZs only player now Vettori is gone for a 14 ball duck and NZ are totally ****ed

Siddle is definately on the improve, looks a dangerous bowler now, I think he had 3 spells for 3 wickets the other day, very good attack weapon for a captain to have

Re: ICC Champions Trophy 2009

Redmond's technique is laughable, can't believe he has lasted this long.

*the bloke will make a ton now*

Lucky for Australia that Ponting took Watson off otherwise he probably would have :p

This could be a massive thrashing, no Vettori to save the day down the order

4/80

Re: ICC Champions Trophy 2009

6/160 after 40 overs. Broom just ran himself out off a terrible ball from Watson. A high full toss that was dabbed to point, Franklin called him through but Broom hesitated and by then Hussey had got the to ball to Watson who whipped the bails off.

Kyle Mills in now, he can hit a ball a fair way. Franklin is on 32. Can't believe McCullum made 0 off 14.

As Dussey will know, Australia comes first, not some stupid comp.
Yeah it turned out to be a wonderful move for him, flew over to South Africa for 4 days and didnt play and despite the batsman he replaced still being injured and another batsman picking up an injury, he still gets overlooked for Australias next tour, they just really enjoy screwing Victoria up
