When they were successful in the senior division, they were probably up there. They're a completely different side now, most of the players that played in premierships have moved on.
 
Any rumours on player movements yet? I know it’s early but for most of us the season has been finished for a couple of weeks, I’m certain each clubs recruiters are hard at work trying to land a key signing
 
Poor Altona Nth, haven't they inherited and bettered the chockers tag now.
How embarrassing it must be for them. It's spreading through the club faster than the Aids Epedemic in North Africa.
What a woeful effort for the 2nds to be needing 109 to win and getting nutted for just 27.
Might be time to rid the club of some of the Mafia down there and get some quality people in the place. Real quick.
 
Congrats to the boys at Hoppers Crossing on a massive win in North Division. Great efforts by Timms, Gardner and Ahmed on game defining contributions. Had Gardner not dropped Kennedy on 0 the win would have been an absolute smashing.
You guys have been the best side all year and deserved your promotion to Senior Division, however you will still need to get alot better to compete strongly in the top division.
Ordinary bloke Weary Dunlop's poor effort of throwing the elbow out and beaming Timms also had good effect on Timms's game, just clocked up a lazy 178, Good move "Weary".

SEEKS PROFESSIONAL PLAYERS FOR 2011/12 SEASON

We are associated with the VTCA Senior Division 4 Senior Sides and 4 Junior Sides (CMCA).
Our 1ST XI has played off in the semi finals 4 of the last 5 years without managing to make a Grand Final.

Thus we are seeking the players with the below qualities to ensure we take the next step.
-Opening Batsman
-Middle Order Batsman (Free Scoring Preferable)
-Opening Bowler

Generous remuneration and terms of contract will be commensurate on credentials.

Why would they not go up? They've been trying for a premiership for over 20 years & previously they went up from North A1 without a flag. They've got the finances to match it with the big boys in Senior. Hoppers have set a VTCA record that will take some beating, being relegated, then reinstated, & then taking the premiership.

they will play finals next year provided they dont lose any players. Mentioed before that Brown might be making his way down there which makes for a formidable team, even if brown hasnt made runs for the last 2 years, you still have to get him out.

leggie(Ahmed) won't be at hoppers next year. big loss for them, played crucial knocks in few one dayers to get them over the line...
