Sheffield Shield Thread 2009/2010

Re: Sheffield Shield Thread 2009/2010

I hope it's not a bad omen for the vics having old ned as their mascot, he sort of choked up pretty bad in the end.

Re: Sheffield Shield Thread 2009/2010

Wright finally gone, QLD need to finish this up pretty quickly now, Victoria have done enough damage this arvo.

Re: Sheffield Shield Thread 2009/2010

This is definitely what I would have predicted.

If this is what Queensland are doing to the Victorian batting line up, what are the Vics going to do the Queensland line up?

Wow.

Re: Sheffield Shield Thread 2009/2010

Good news for Victoria is in the last 6 years QLD have only passed 300 once at the MCG, bowled out for 302 last year with Watson making 145 of them, Victoria then made 8/800 :D

Re: Sheffield Shield Thread 2009/2010

HAHAHAHHA

Wade chokes on 96, just like the Victorian cricket team and the Collingwood football club.

Tell your story walking pal.

Go the bulls.

Nice to see that tosser Wade fall just short of the ton.

Why don't you like Wade?

Anyway, Queensland's day.

The pitch is an absolute road, so the bulls need to get 500 and then win by an innings.

The best thing is that the draw is now out of the equation, which was always going to be Victoria's back up, or rather their first choice - to bat Queensland out of the game and kill the contest.

Now it's one on one.

Go the bulls.

Re: Sheffield Shield Thread 2009/2010

Queensland haven't had their innings yet LtD.

If it is any team at the moment that is allergic to a flawless batting performance it is the Bulls unfortunately.

Oh come on, its funny to see the arrogance even though there is no reason for any QLDer to be so arrogant especially as you say, their batting has been pretty shit lately and even though the MCG is so lifeless, boring and flat, the QLD batsmen have never been able to capitalise, even earlier this year in a similar game except Victoria got about 50 more runs, QLD folded for about 300 in their 2 innings combined

But I suppose they are putting all faith in grade cricket form meaning something

Re: Sheffield Shield Thread 2009/2010

So what? Never liked him, he does it all the time, his highest score is 100, loves playing QLD and Tassie though

Re: Sheffield Shield Thread 2009/2010

Doesn't matter what result comes out. In the end Queensland will always be best played for the simple fact that only one of their bowlers has played more than one season, 3 of their batsman have less than 50 games and there has been a major shortage of players around. Very good effort to even get this far. Brilliant.
