If every over then that is C7 coverage. FoxCricket coverage has no adds during play.
You think India are in the poo a bit now.

Starc remains wicketless.

Hazlewood has Pujara again with a pearler . Bloody good shortie at start of over musta un-nerved him. Pete Hazlewood has been in career best form since the Ashes. What about his economy last two matches..pressure building at its best.

Pujara may be painful to watch Pete but his wicket is priceless nonetheless.

Rahane flashes at a Starc wide one once too often. This time Tim has put in a fourth slip and he snaffles a flyer.
Hazlewoods is going great guns mate, yeah his economy rate is outstanding.

Pujara's wicket can be priceless at times, but no need for him to bat like that all the time... mate, when I was playing any type of sport use to play in a positive manner, just aggravates me to see any sportsman consistently playing in a negative way.

Very poor shot by Rahane to give his wicket away.

He is taking wickets again after a long lull. The two balls he has removed Pujara with last two innings were top shelf quality.

Must be C7 coverage then.
Reckon your blokes are in a pretty good position mate... you need to keep chipping them out to stop them getting good partnerships going.

Yes Pete Pujara seems to have gotten into this stonewall groove as it paid dividends on his last two tours. But seems to me this series he is going a bit too slowly and putting pressure on his partner by not rotating the strike more. But I'd have him in my side if I was Aussie coach.

Yeh mate. No freebies to Pant. Strangle him with pressure and he will collapse as he lacks a solid technique.

That was a ripper of a delivery to get Pujara out.
Bowled him thru the gate in last match. Josh has always been relentlessly accurate but for a while that did not bring wickets. If I was Aussie coach having a bowler of his pressure building accuracy is like gold. He is in the McGrath mould and look how valuable he was to his teams back in his day.

Got them 6 down now mate... get one more wicket & you might roll them pretty quickly in this innings.
Dont wanna sound like a broken record but Hazlewood's earlier pressure got those last two wickets. Admire the way he outsmarted Pant. A good quick has to have something between the ears.

Starc unable to maintain pressure. At least one boundary every over. Reckon time he was axed for Pattinson or Neser for the Saffer tour.

Absolutely mate, the best bowlers have to bowl in good areas consistently & focus on a batsman's weakness & really exploit it.

Agree, Starc tends to be pretty erratic in tests... Craig, do you think he's better suited to white ball cricket ?

Paine get Starc off. Going at almost 5 an over and giving the Indians a sniff.

Pete I find it hard to grasp that Paine keeps Starc on when he is going at almost double the runs of the other pair. It is almost like he is more concerned in giving all his quicks equal overs regardless of how poorly one of them is bowling.

Struggle for our quicks with the new ball. Not a lot of sideways movement. Hazlewood only one to beat the bat more than once.

What has happened to the Gabba. This deck now has very little of the usual life we associate with Australia's most potent pitches. When arguably the best attack in the game can not remove a pair of rookies that average @16 and @30 in FC cricket with a new cherry then something is amiss.

Paine's captaincy was poor in the last test, that has continued into this one as well Craig.

The way the deck is mate you really need someone that can bowl late swing... even though Starc has bowled inconsistently is he your best option to swing it ?

Yes Tim appears to be catching Kane Williamson's disease of not being proactive when you have a side at your mercy. His defensive outer field against a pair of rookies with moderate FC records was not good captaincy. It meant our quicks were left with no alternative but to keep it short and hope a mistake was made.. instead of shortening their lengths to induce a drive. I have to say it is no easy task to captain a cricket side and keep at the same time. Few have ever done it as successfully as has Tim Paine.

Yes Cummins and Hazlewood are specialist seamers.. Starc can swing the ball.. had one of the most lethal new ball in swingers in the business once. but appears to have forgotten how to bowl it now.. A young bloke you may not have heard of..Jhye Richardson swings the red ball both ways at pace. He has been injured the past 12 months but is back and firing in the white ball stuff. He will probably be in our T20 squad for the Kiwi tour. Prefer instead he is chosen for our Test squad in place of Starc for the SAfrica tour..

Yeah, Starc use to be lethal at getting late swing, especially in white ball cricket - reckon our NZ pace bowlers would probably have the best swing attack in world cricket at the moment.
Richardson sounds very promising, will keep an eye on him in the smash/bash 20/20 series... sounds a real risk if your blokes go on the S.A. tour Craig, they reckon that's where that new deadly virus started.
