The temperature reached 38.5 degrees today after getting to 35.7 degrees yesterday. The previous few days before that were 34 degrees or slightly above that.

Tomorrow is forecast to be 39 degrees before things cool down from Saturday.

The temperature reached 39.1 degrees last Friday.

The December 2021 to February 2022 period set a number of records:

  • Hottest December to February period on record (average temperature 33.2 degrees, previous record 32.3 degrees [2012/13]).
  • Most amount of days of 40 degrees Celsius or more (13, previous record seven in 2015/16).
  • Most amount of days of 35 degrees Celsius or more (33, previous record 31 1977/78).
  • Driest December to February period since 2012/13 (8.2 mm).

It has been humid here for about a week. May get a shower or storm here on Sunday before the temperature hits the low to mid 30's again from Wednesday through to Saturday.

The minimum temperature here was 23.6 degrees on Saturday morning, the highest for the current weather station. It's supposed to be Autumn! It has been very humid for the last week which is set to continue for another few days.

Very much so, it was rather humid for a number of days there. That humid weather has gone away now though and we're more into an autumn pattern now here, 29 degrees here tomorrow after 15 degrees overnight before 32 on Thursday. After that it is cooling down into the mid the to high 20's again during the day.
 
What a difference a week makes. It was still in the low to mid 20's during the night here earlier in the month but things have cooled right down now. We had 7.6mm of rain over Friday night/Saturday morning and then 38mm thanks to some heavy showers over Sunday. The temperature has been in the low to high 20's during that time with minimums in the low teens, a welcome relief after a record breaking summer.

Autumn has finally arrived!
 
So how has the weather been for everyone lately? Things have cooled down here from the hot summer we had although the temperature is going to be the high 20's for the next few days and then 30 by Sunday before some showers may make a return on Monday.

How was the weather for everyone over Easter? Interested to hear what everyone experienced over the Easter break.
 
30.9 degrees today and it is late April. There's a couple of cold fronts coming in which is going to cool things right down from tonight and deliver showers for the next few days. Should be fine again by Friday though.

Friday and the weekend was sunny here after a wet week last week. Today was smoky due to prescribed burns but was a mostly sunny day. More of the same expected for the remainder of the week with temperatures getting into the high 20's by the weekend.
