Re: Who will win the AFL flag?

^^ Hi Robert Walls..

Solomon and Bradley have been very good but fair call on Johnson, that's it Perhaps watch a few games and learn about the sport a bit.

Re: Who will win the AFL flag?

Hahaha, are you kidding me ?

Dean Solomon was never ever going to help you guys win a premiership. He has had a servicable year, but i would of rather used the two picks (both in the 40's if i recall and get two young kids. This crop at Fremantle will not win a premiership hence getting Palmer Mayne Head are great moves by the FFC)

Kepler Bradley ... so much hype about the guy, when he went to Essendon and done very little to prove himself. Just another one of those recycled Essendon players landing on the list of the Dockers.

Mark Johnson. WOW. God knows what they were thinking there. If they don't delist him this year some serious questions should be asked about the direction of the FFC.

That's three recycle jobs that good of been used to get some young guys in order to build around Palmer Mayne Ibbo Head for the next tilt at the silverware.

Re: Who will win the AFL flag?

Was that another choke?

Freo are shocking, 8 players who belong in a retirement village before an AFL ground need to go AT LEAST 8

Re: Who will win the AFL flag?

Fremantle were very ordinary tonight, nothing unusual, but against Port Adelaide they could have done anything, two clubs who go home at 3 quarter time were at. This time, only one went home, and it was the home club!

confused? yeah, i was too after writing that. Fremantly are a very ordinary side.

All teams now have at least one loss with Hawthorn the last of the undefeated teams to lose, this week they lost to the Western Bulldogs. The Hawks still have first place with nine victories followed by Geelong in second, also with nine wins with the Bulldogs a further two points behind in third place.

Adelaide are 4th on 28 points with Sydney 5th, only two points behind the Crows. The Swans also have the best percentage at 136.45% despite having the worst game plan in the AFL. Collingwood are 6th with their percentage getting another boost after belting a very disappointing West Coast outfit at the MCG. Brisbane are 7th with 24 points and are good value for the top eight and North Melbourne round out the top eight with 22 points.

St. Kilda are 9th and knocking on the door of the top eight with 20 points and Port Adelaide sneak into 10th spot with their win over Fremantle ensuring they are still a chance of some finals action. Carlton are 11th and will probably stay there although they can still play finals football. Richmond are probably the last of the teams who have a realistic chance of playing in September.

West Coast are 13th with only two wins and right behind them are Essendon also with two wins. Essendon are really struggling with their defence this year, they are conceding too many goals and their gameplan doesn't seem to have a defensive aspect to it. Fremantle are 15th with only one win and Melbourne are still last also with one win and a percentage of 58.63%.

Interesting to note that Fremantle set a new record today. Today was the 5th time in a row they have lead at three quarter time and then gone on to lose the game. This has never happened before in VFL/AFL history, a history which is over 110 years old.

Re: Who will win the AFL flag?

Could be a bit of a smokey

Essendon did look good against the Crows and were right in it until the end. We have the talent and the Hawks have some big injuries. Hodge and Dew are both out also another couple of Hamstring twangs as well. Could be a tight game but bombers just need to hold of Buddy.

Or am I kidding myself and should hand out the magic stuff I am smoking to all to enjoy?

Incorrect.

If we do it for another month than yes we have been "Fremantled"

Just not quite there.

Still a little gutted from last nights loss, however the atmosphere was electric. @|

i hope they're not playing on Melbourne Cup day though.

It's still looking good for Geelong, and after the Dogs beat Hawthorn i would think they are 2nd on the ladder.

having said that: you can't beat the boys of the bulldog breed. :D

Re: Who will win the AFL flag?

Hawthorn are on top of the ladder now. Who knows it could be between Hawthorn vs Geelong, Geelong vs Western Bulldogs, Hawthorn vs Western Bulldogs.

The last time I looked at the record i think you will find that the Hawks have got the wood over the cats for the past 3 years.

Re: Who will win the AFL flag?

Tough round to select winners this one .. got the lucky with the the first one with the Bombers tonight. Crows v the Dawks is the other hard game to tip..

Re: Who will win the AFL flag?

How is it that Hawthorn keep winning?

grr, i wanted to stay on top of the ladder for at least one week.

Doggies keep winning, Hawks keep winning, Geelong keep winning

not long until Geelong play both Hawthorn and the Dogs.
