Re: Who will win the AFL flag?

Well it could be when you are comparing Freo, but "The Pretender" is a much better song.
"Long Road To Ruin" is allright, but not the Foos' greatest song.
"The Pretender" just about is and anyway, if Freo did change it to that, then at least they could actually be a chance of being the best at something!:D
They could go from worst club song in the AFL to the best.@|

Re: Who will win the AFL flag?

About time we are back with footy.

DreamTeam vs Victoria was a good concept but great to have the real stuff back.

Early Predictions?

Bombers to get back on the winners list?

I like your sarcasm Guru. Man I hope Melbourne improve through the year. Then Essendon could be serious contenders for the spoon.@|
******** Essenscum.

Re: Who will win the AFL flag?

Freo will dominate tomorrow, big Kepler is playing!

Oh and good to see West Coast lose again and be second last with a % of 66

That's the trouble with Fremantle, these quick fixes aren't going to win them a flag. Bradley, Mark Johnson, Solomon, they're a waste of time.

Obsessed much? ;)

Shows your limited football knowledge , Solomon has been very good since he came west. Agree with Johnson though, we already have McManus why get another??

And yes Kepler is a 90% chance of being a spud for us (despite good WAFL form) but let's give him a go for a couple of games before completely writing him off, he's only 22.

How old's Solomon, about 30? Waste of time in my opinion, doesn't matter how good he plays now, that form could turn into nothing by the end of the year. And then what is he going to give in the years to come? They could be playing a kid out there who they could develop and get 10-12 years service rather than a handful.

Bradley was delisted for a reason. Can't believe Campbell is listed as an emergency, 10 goals in the WAFL and still can't get a game. Pathetic.

No offence Kram but your club isn't doing itself any favours. I thought Fremantle would have learnt by now.

Umm, Solly was born in 1980 and is 28, hardly geriatric and has been a solid performer. Bradley has sub par skills, but at least he has a heart larger than a pea, which is more than I can say for 95% of the West Coasts players ;) (when they are not pumped up and high on drugs of course ;))

Solomon, Johnson and Bradley are backwards choices, you should be looking to develop your list rather than top it up in the hope it will actually pay dividends. You even said yourself that there is a 90% chance that Bradley will be a spud, so why even bother recruiting him?

Solomon might give one or two seasons good service but after that no-one knows. I'd rather spend a few years developing a player who will end up giving the side 10 or 12 good seasons rather than simply "topping up" the list. A couple of seasons of development is better than continually struggling.

Baffling stuff.

I got all 8 right this week....

Same here with a 1 point margin, first 8/8 for the year.

1st out of 22 and 6th out of 120 in my comps :)

Re: Who will win the AFL flag?

Collingwood paying $4.25 at the start of the game come out and absolutely polax Geelong.

The Huns headline tomorrow "Collingwood premiership favourites" :D

Re: Who will win the AFL flag?

Kepler has average skills but the way he has a go is top stuff. David Mundy should look and learn, twice the skill, quarter the heart.. |@

Daniel Rich should look nice in a Freo jumper.:D:eek:

Re: Who will win the AFL flag?

Freo shocking form. Coach is under the pump, more then Bailey from Melbourne

Worst chockers for a while

Essendon still look like crap

Re: Who will win the AFL flag?

Sadly, it seems Essendon have 1 of their most important players coming back (a bit too early) in Scott Lucas. God damn, nothing would make me happier than to see the Scum win the spoon. Please God make it happen.
