Re: harder to face left armers or right ? Actually for me its the Right armers. My dad was a left arm bowler & so when I was young I learnt how to face the angle which goes across. And I also open my stance abit which I think helps.

Re: Slower balls My stock slower ball is the Leg-Cutter which turns abit if the pitch is right. And I also think I may have been able to master the SLOB.

Re: Playing across I always make sure that if I am going to play across the line that there is a very little chance of me getting out. And one should note that nowadays with bowlers bowling at different length & speed almost every ball, it's quite hard to play most shots from the textbook.
