Re: Things that annoy you
While your waiting at the bus stop and someone comes running and asks
'Has the bus left?' If the bus had already left then I would not be standing here would I
Re: Puma Ballistic or Kookaburra Kahuna/Genisis
Well I have heard good reviews about the Puma Ballistic so that's there. And most of the bats you've mentioned are good as well. But, maybe you should have a look at the GN Viper.
Re: Sliding
You should not be afraid of practicing the slide, because there is no way you can learn something without practicing it. And there are 2 important things you should rememberwhen practicing:
1. Keep your knees a bit high if not you'll highten the risk of digging in your knees into...
Re: The Bob Woolmer Way - batting
I found these videos quite helpful. However, I had the previlege of being taught by him personally when he came to Dubai back in 2004. And I got a huge compliment from him when he said I had a very good knowledge of the game
Re: harder to face left armers or right ?

Re: India in Sri Lanka
Ecstatic as usual, Murali & Mendis a.k.a. M&M really did the job for Sri Lanka. But, quite shocked by the performanc of the Indian batsmen with that much of experiance I thought they'll be able give us a tough fight. :o
Re: Slower balls
My stock slower ball is the Leg-Cutter which turns abit if the pitch is right. And I also think I may have been able to master the SLOB.
Re: Playing across
I always make sure that if I am going to play across the line that there is a very little chance of me getting out. And one should note that nowadays with bowlers bowling at different length & speed almost every ball, it's quite hard to play most shots from the textbook.
Re: Captaincy?
I usually Captain from slips or short cover. But for the pace bowlers I field at mid-off so that I can give him some advice being a fast bowler myself. And its also good to get the keeper involved sometimes because he has the same view as the batsmen.
Re: Favourite Fielding Position
I like to field in the Slips because my coach says I've got quick reflexes. But my captain thinks I would be better at Square-Leg or Short Cover
Re: Whats the fastest you have faced?
I 've faced a bowler who can bowl in the high 70's with the wind coming from the left of me. I was a sitting duck because he can get the ball to swing a lot.
