Great return for Marsh with a very slow 5, will end up with a negative return for this game after fielding

You are right eddie, they should've left Voges in :p

Really? How do you work that out seeing as on the flattest pitch outside of Adelaide Marsh cant even make more than a crawling 5, wouldnt have scored in Delhi :D

Just trying to make a ludicrous example to match yours, thats all. :p

Re: Australia in India

****ing stupid shot but even worse captaincy, cant understand the hesitation in taking the batting powerplay, then was the perfect time

But mine wasnt ludicrous, Ponting was scoring freely, Watson was scoring freely, they opened then the team wouldnt have been on the backfoot the entire innings as they have due to Marsh's wasted effort at the top

Re: Australia in India

It wasn't until Sharma came on that things loosened up. Watson was struggling as well in those first overs.

I don't see what Voges would have done. I really wanted him in the side a while ago, but the whole time he has done stuff all. Marsh at least has a good average and has won games before. Can't ignore someone who has performed when you are looking for an opener just like him. Just because he was injured doesn't mean he still can't do it.

Re: Australia in India

C'mon, two big hitters and quick scorers are in with White and Johson at the start of the powerplay. They need to lift this score big time. There is no better time to flex those arms and go for it. If you don't try you won't succeed.

Re: Australia in India

What the hell is Johnson doing? For a bloke who wants to bat higher up the order and is supposed to be their big hitter at 7 he doesnt seem to realise there are only 5 overs left, bloody idiot

Re: Australia in India

That's a bit harsh eddie, but half agree with you.

Stupid wicket with White being run out. Will Australia ever get a powerplay right?

It's not like there is Hopes and Lee yet to come either, this is really it when it comes to the more consistent batsman.

Re: Australia in India

But it's better he hung around then have gotten his wicket there and then if he knew he couldn't make the shot.
