Australia won the toss and decided to bat first in game five. They've made three changes, Mitch Johnson has been dropped with Clint McKay coming into the team to make his debut, Adam Voges replaces the injured Moises Henriques and Ben Hilfenhaus comes in for Peter Siddle who has gone home, also injured.
India have made two changes, Ishant Sharma has been dropped with Munaf Patel making his first appearance in the series. Gautam Gambhir is also into the side with Virat Kohli making way for him.
Australia are 0/21 midway through the fifth over, Watson on 8, Marsh on 11.

Blistering start so far, Shane Watson has been smashing the Indian attack to all parts of the ground and has raced to 57 off only 44 balls. Shaun Marsh has been more subdued with 21 off 28.
Score is 0/80 from 12 overs. Dhoni's had to bring the spinners on early as Jadeja is now into the attack.

Only a few overs left.
Very well done to Marsh, I give him the full commendations for turning a shoddy looking start into something that good. Looks like he has gotten his flow back. ODI centuries aren't the most populous, and now he has one of his own.
Now Hussey comes into his own at the end, don't let us down from the 44 over mark Huss!

Excellent batting by everyone really, don't think you could have asked for much more. All batsman were striking at 100 or better. Marsh was superb as was Watson with Ponting coming in and doing his job. Then White and Hussey elevated the run rate at the end to give Australia 4/350.
India 0/8 from 1.1 overs in reply, Sehwag has seven.

Just goes to show that if you get two teams who actually give half a stuff about ODI cricket that you can have a great game.
Compare that to England, who whinged and whined all last series that the game was dead and what not.
This is great cricket, ODI cricket like this almost rivals test match cricket IMO.
T20 might be the range with all the kids today, much like bands like Bloc Party and muse.
But eventually the masses will return to tests and ODI's.
Just like eventually Oasis will reunite and rock around the world.

Ponting looks like his trying to buy a wicket here, run rate has dropped, brings on Hussey to see if the Indians want to go after him, almost gets a caught and bowled.
Good captainicy, that type of left-field gamble isnt something Ponting is necessary renowned for.

He didnt have any other option, the side is missing the 2nd all rounder, Macca will be straight into the team for the 6th ODI
As for the series, oh yeah, Australia A and India are putting on a great series, if Australia was fielding a full strength side it would have been more one sided than the England series, but we all know you cant resist attacking England for no reason atleast once a day

Watson!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Again!!!!!! Good length delivery outside off, it straightens and all Harbhajan can do is edge behind to Manou.
