Re: Australia tour of India 2010
Billy wouldnt have gotten out of Mohali alive after he fired Gambhir out and what happened at the other end with Sharma
Re: Say what you want about Ponting's captaincy... but
too much blame is placed on Hauritz every time Australia fail to win a Test match.
they had 92 runs to play with and 2 wickets to get, but couldnt get the win. this wasnt because of Hauritz...the cattle was on the field that could get...
Re: Say what you want about Ponting's captaincy... but
Ponting only introduced a short leg after the horse had bolted and there were few runs to get. The first one that would've gone straight to leg slip..there was no short leg in place at the time. in fact there was no one in catching...
Re: Say what you want about Ponting's captaincy... but
TBH i thought Ponting had a poor day as captain
i thought he could've attacked Laxman more and i dont understand why they didnt have a catcher on the legside when Johnson was bowling short on leg stump against Instant Sharma.
too many...
Re: Australia tour of India 2010
i think Hauritz in an ok spinner...just that Indian top order batsmen generally play offspin very well. especially in their conditions.
i dont think their spin attack is any better.
I thought Bolly bowled well and Hilfenhaus in patches
they may have got some...
Re: Australia tour of India 2010
fairly good position for the Aussies at days end considering India dominated most of the day...and personally i didnt think the Aussies scored enough runs, or at least quickly enough given the conditions in the first innings
this is why we love Test cricket.
why is it when aussies take a low catch its referred and....
...when Laxman takes a low catch in the first innings its a classic? ..and no referral
how bias is this commentary?
Mitchell Johnson is an idiot
seriously he just runs in and bowls and hopes for the best
he bowls so much shit that batsmen lose concentration and get out...but not often enough
did anyone see his interview grab on Foxsports about bowling in Indian conditions? he seemed completely...
Re: Australia tour of India 2010
i'd like to see this line up given a go..
- Doug Bollinger
- Ben Hilfenhaus
- Peter George
- Hauritz
but of course it will never happen as there is no talk of dropping once-in-a-generation Johnson
:(
Re: Michael Clarke should not have been picked for T20 World Cup side
i think the Aussie selection panel have been shown up to be a completely incompetent outfit over the past few years.
when the team picked itself they never really had to work. as soon as their expertise was required it...
Re: New Uniforms
still hate the dark green strip
i think the CommBank logo would stand out just as much if the uniform was yellow. just stick a black box behind it
Re: Pakistan commissioner believes trio were "set-up"
ah it all makes sense now
it was a plot conceived by the evil Anglo/Australian axis to deny Pakistan its biggest star players who were beginning to challenge the imperialist dominance
:)
Re: Arrest over Pakistan-England cricket 'betting scam'
there's got to be a cloud over MoYo too given his field placings in the 3rd innings of that Sydney Test this year
Re: Arrest over Pakistan-England cricket 'betting scam'
the ICC cannot afford to ban Pakistan and wont in any case.
life bans for implicated players however should be imposed, but i doubt we'll see that either.
